  • Profile information: name, birthday, skiing discipline, experience level, and favorite hill (all optional except email)
  • Location data: approximate location to show nearby ski resources, only when you use the app
  • Usage data: how you interact with the app, used to improve the experience

How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To show you relevant ski hills, programs, and events near Toronto

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties
  • We do not share your data with advertisers
  • We do not store your location data permanently

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.

Your Rights

You may request to view, update, or delete your account data at any time by contacting us here. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

SkiTO is rated 9+ on the App Store and is intended for users aged 9 and older. We recommend that parents and guardians supervise their child's use of the app. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental awareness. If you believe your child has registered without your knowledge, please contact us here and we will promptly remove their account and associated data.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SkiTO after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
